Steyr TMP

The Steyr TMP is a weapon that appears in Thing-Thing 3 and Thing-Thing 4.

Overview[]

Reality[]

The Steyr TMP (Taktische Maschinenpistole or "Tactical Machine Pistol") is an Austrian selective-fire weapon designed in the late 1980s and first produced in the early 1990s. Chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum. Featuring a vertical foregrip, this made it reportedly manageable despite its high cyclic rate of fire (850-900 RPM)

Thing-Thing 3[]

The Steyr TMP uses submachine gun ammo. It is obtained for killing 175 enemies in the second level. It has a high rate of fire and high damage for a SMG.

Thing-Thing 4[]

The Steyr is easily found, due to it being in the Bio-Waste Incineration Area. Like most submachine guns, it has a high fire rate, but also has high recoil. Also like other submachine guns, it uses SMG ammo.

Note that Project 154 wields the weapon like a pistol, ignoring the front grip. The weapon is much less powerful than in its previous appearance.
